Perhaps one of the most incredible success stories of how suffering is optional is Dr. Victor Frankl, author of Man's Search for Meaning. As a prisoner in the Nazi concentration camps in World War II, he underwent the greatest cruelty but made the choice to respond with dignity and peace. He chose to manage his thoughts and feelings about what was happening and he saved himself from suffering.
Therein lies the key to ending suffering.
Many of us undergo extreme or extended hardships involving suffering out of ignorance and/or habit. The habit can form an attachment to suffering that can become deeply ingrained. In fact, it can be karmic. Let's look at the cycle of pain and suffering.
Pain is a message. Whether pain is physical, mental or emotional, it is an indication of disharmony and imbalance. It is definitely asking for our attention. But what kind of attention we give can make all the difference between pain and suffering.
If we don't act on the motivation to help heal or improve the pain, or we are unsuccessful in our efforts, the pain is likely to come back more intensely or expansively, taking up more space in our being. After repeated episodes without effective attention and relief, it can turn into suffering.
How can we stop suffering? 1 ) we need to take action to help heal or improve the pain and 2) we need to address our reaction to the pain. It is important to interrupt negative thinking that may accompany the pain and lead to suffering.
How can soul healing help? It can fulfill both points 1 and 2 above - helping us take the action to heal on all levels, including our reactions and negative thinking.
To practice forgiveness and offer service are the two biggest ways humanity can self-clear their karma blockages. However, soul healing, and especially Divine soul healing, can remove blockages for us much more rapidly.
When we experience pain, we can employ simple soul healing techniques right away, to lessen, mitigate or even resolve it, depending on the situation. We can also employ soul healing wisdom and techniques to generate a healthy attitude toward our pain and circumstances, one that empowers us to effectively move toward healing.
There are many soul healing techniques one can use to help heal themselves (and others), such as the Four Power Techniques, Soul Orders, Soul Tapping, Soul Song and Soul Dance and much more. All of them connect heart to heart, soul to soul with the condition and the souls involved, sending in love and light and forgiveness and compassion. We can target physical, mental or emotional pain with these practices. We can target negative thinking. We can target any aspect of the condition or of life.
These techniques remove the soul blockages and also heal the heart, mind and body at the spiritual level. Emotional imbalances can clear. Mindsets can dissolve. Energy and matter blockages can release. The teaching is, "heal the soul first; then healing of the mind and body will follow." Though one still needs to address their health and well being on all levels, healing the soul blockages heal the root cause and create a powerful opening for deep and total healing.
If you have Divine Healing Hands, you can invoke them to receive Divine soul healing, which means that Divine will remove more blockages for you, sending in Divine frequencies of love, light, forgiveness, compassion and more. With Divine Healing Hands we can more quickly remove soul blockages and diminish or possibly end our suffering.
These practices can not only relieve bouts of pain and suffering, but weaken the suffering habit. The mind does need to be retrained, so practice positive thoughts!
And last but not least, give yourself a lot of love! Suffering can be a difficult habit to transform, and self love is a big part of that.
It's our honor to serve you.
With greatest love,
Your Divine Healing Hands Team
